About Us

At AMS, we believe middle school is more than just a transition between elementary and high school. It is a launchpad where students begin discovering who they are and who they want to become.

We serve approximately 450 energetic students in grades 6 through 8, supported by more than 35 dedicated teachers and a caring team of paraprofessionals, student services staff, support personnel, and specialists. Our school is small enough to offer a personal, student-centered approach while being large enough to provide a rich and engaging middle school experience. We are intentional in our structure and focus, designed specifically to support the academic and social-emotional growth of middle school students

Our mission is to create learning experiences that empower all students to grow and succeed. We do this through a thoughtful daily schedule, which includes six class periods, personalized support during WIN Time, and elective courses that give students the chance to explore new interests in a low-pressure environment.

Our school culture is rooted in three core values: integrity, positive attitude, and respect. These expectations guide how we learn, lead, and connect with each other as a community.
